"This felt like an impossible task...how could we choose just one! Everything about the day was just so special, the venue, the guests and even the photographer. We have chosen this image because we feel it sums up the day - everyone happy, smiling and obviously having fun.”

2007 Favourites: Wendy & Mark
Instead of a MY favourites of 2007 blog post I’ve decided to ask my wedding couples to pick THEIR favourite image and explain why. So here is another 2007 favourite – Wendy and Mark who got married on 10th April. Here’s what Mark had to say about their favourite image:

2007 Favourites: Liz & Jason
Instead of a MY favourites of 2007 blog post I’ve decided to ask my wedding couples to pick THEIR favourite image and explain why. So here is another 2007 favourite – Liz and Jason who got married on 2nd December. Here’s what Liz had to say about their favourite image:
“This image is special to me because my dad died six months before our wedding and this picture incorporates his memory into our special day.”

2007 Favourites: Sarah & Dave
Instead of a MY favourites of 2007 blog post I’ve decided to ask my wedding couples to pick THEIR favourite image and explain why. So here is another 2007 favourite – Sarah and Dave who got married on 12th June. Here’s what Dave had to say about their favourite image:
“Choosing just one was difficult but I think it's the black and white one of Sarah and Jordan kissing on the steps. This picture really moved me when I saw it, I couldn't believe how beautiful they both looked and how lucky I am to have such a wonderful family. I think you really captured the closeness of their relationship. It really is a beautiful shot!”

2007 Favourites: Emily & Fish
Instead of a MY favourites of 2007 blog post I’ve decided to ask my wedding couples to pick THEIR favourite image and explain why. So here is another 2007 favourite – Emily and Fish (Andrew!) who got married on 15th September. After pondering over their photos for two days here’s what Emily had to say about their favourite image:
“It's so difficult to pick just one photo when they all mean so much for different reasons. This photo is so lovely because it was taken after all the hubbub of the ceremony and group photos and it was the first time Fish and I had sat down together and taken in the occasion. I think we were still a bit dumbstruck!! I also love it because you can just see all our guests in the background, we look detached for a few minutes, spending a quiet moment with each other.”

2007 Favourites: Lucy & Gareth
Instead of a MY favourites of 2007 blog post I’ve decided to ask my wedding couples to pick THEIR favourite image and explain why. So here is another 2007 favourite – Lucy and Gareth who got married on 22nd September. Lucy couldn't write much as Spooky their new pet rabbit had just chewed through the power cable for the laptop! But here's why they like this photograph the best:
“Although we love all our wedding photos, our favourite photo from the wedding is the black and white shot of us kissing under the archway. It's such a gorgeous shot, really eye catching. The fact that it's of us makes it even better! It was the first of our prints to be framed so that we could show it off to friends and family and has pride of place in our living room.”

2007 Favourites: Gaby & Matt
Instead of a MY favourites of 2007 blog post I’ve decided to ask my wedding couples to pick THEIR favourite image and explain why. So here is another 2007 favourite – Gaby and Matt who got married on 17th August. They had a hard time picking their favourite photograph but finally settled on this one...and here's why:
“We like this photo particularly because it shows the full length of my dress. It also captures the full grandeur of Ston Easton Park, whilst we were enjoying a quiet moment of reflection of the ceremony and the day itself. One of the best things about the day was that we took time to have those quiet moments as it was easy to be swept along. This photo means a lot to use as it captures one such moment. The style of the photo seems to be timeless it could have been taken yesterday or half a century ago.”

2007 Favourites: Louise & Richard
Instead of a MY favourites of 2007 blog post I’ve decided to ask my wedding couples to pick THEIR favourite image and explain why. So here is another 2007 favourite – Louise and Richard who got married on 29th September. Here’s what Louise had to say about their favourite image:
“I love this photo as we both look happy and relaxed and rather relieved to have the most nerve-racking part of the day behind us. I am holding what was for me the first glass of champagne of the day although my husband had started on the champagne a few hours earlier! This photo among others serves as a fantastic memory of a wonderful day which passed in such a blur... Thank you Caroline!”
