Emily & Fish's Wedding

Once again I'm sorry...I've gotten a bit behind with blogging so here I am trying to catch back up to date with the weddings I've been doing lately! Last Saturday - 15th September - I had the pleasure of being part of Emily and Andrew (a.k.a Fish)'s wedding at the lovely Stoodleigh Court near Tiverton, Devon.

The morning preparations were very laid back and I got to spend quite a bit of time with Emily and the girls as they got ready - always one of my favourite parts of the day! After a lovely ceremony in the great hall everyone got to enjoy another sunny September's day outside in the fantastic grounds.

Elizabeth & Lee's Wedding

Last Friday I was back in Wales for Elizabeth & Lee's wedding in Cardiff at the New House Country Hotel. Elizabeth & Lee met at university and have since done a fair bit of travelling together. They carried this theme into their wedding by having their tables named after places they'd visited together and each table had a little mini photo tree on it showing pictures from that country!

During the service it was clear for everyone to see how much in love the pair of them are and their first dance was so emotitional that even I teared up a little!

Helen & Mark's Wedding

On Saturday I photographed Helen & Mark's wedding in Bath. Their service was at All Saints Church in Weston followed by a reception at the Bath Spa Hotel. Helen got ready at the hotel and had the biggest suite EVER! This was great for photos and I got some fantastic ones of her getting ready.

With the sun shining everyone enjoyed the drinks reception on the front lawns of the hotel and I made use of the fantastic grounds to get some lovely images of Helen & Mark together.

Felicity & Mark's Wedding

On Saturday I photographed Felicity and Mark's wedding down in Devon. Felicity and Mark live in London so I had not had a chance to meet up with them beforehand but they were both very easy to get on with and I was made to feel very welcome by Felicity's family during her preparations beforehand.

Mark is from New Zealand and had relatives over from Australia and Japan so it was truly an international affair! At first Mark was a bit uncomfortable about having his picture taken but he soon loosened up and I managed to get some great pictures of the two of them, as well as lots of natural moments throughout the day.

Lucy & Gaz's Pre-Wedding Session

Last week I met up with Lucy and Gaz who are getting married later this month to do their pre-wedding portrait session at Hestercombe Gardens, near Taunton.

I love shooting at Hestercombe as there are so many interesting backgrounds and places to go - it's a photographer's dream!

And it was great to catch up with Lucy and Gaz who I first met almost a year ago at a wedding fair in Plymouth. Here are a few of their pictures...

Laura & Nick's Wedding

On Saturday 25th August I covered a wonderful wedding just down the road from me! Laura and Nick live in London but got married at Queen Camel church and had their reception at Sherborne Castle...and what a fantastic day they had!

Laura walked to the church from her parents' house which gave me the chance to capture some lovely pictures of her and her dad coming along the cobbled path. Nick was a bit nervous before the ceremony but as soon as he saw Laura entering the church his face lit up!

And what better way to make it from the church to the reception than by helicopter? Laura's brother James is a pilot and pulled some strings so he could fly the two of them to Sherborne Castle - and they couldn't have asked for better weather!
